Training Pastors and Leaders In Kenya

Many called to be pastors and leaders in the Kenyan Church cannot afford the fees and tuition to be properly trained. Often they go untrained or receive inadequate training.

However, due to Kenyan government regulations, Pastors and other faith-based organizational leaders are required to have at least a diploma in Theology. This can be costly and burdensome to many and so they are unable to receive basic required training.

What’s the solution?

Pastor Calvince and his wife Isabellah have graciously sacrificed to ensure that some of these Pastors near Kisii receive training proper. They receive no compensation for teaching, preparing lessons, feeding them lunch, and other needs, each week.

The one-year program offers a diploma and gives the students a solid foundation in the Word. There is also a focus on prayer, the Holy Spirit, and the gifts.

The cost for one pastor is $350, and while that may seem small to most, it is often too much, and many quit.

Consider donating to help offset the costs and support the teachers in this worthy endeavor.

  • Kenya needs leaders grounded in the Word and that is our first order of business. Many pastors are improperly taught the word, but we seek to change that.

  • Nothing happens without prayer, we train leaders to spend time in the Word and in prayer with the Father and the Son. We seek to develop a lifestyle of intimacy.

  • We rely upon the Holy Spirit to lead us in every aspect of life. The goal is to see every pastor operating in the gifts and to train their people to do so. The power of the Spirit will authenticate the gospel

One of the many needs is for leaders to be sent to unreached people groups in and around Kenya. It is necessary for some to be trained and sent to these areas.

And this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.
