10 Widows4Jesus Ministry
Making Disciples Among the poor and starving widows and their families in a least-reached people group.
The situation in Turkana Kenya is dire. Drought, starvation, invasion by bandits, and other issues make it difficult to bring the gospel into this dry Sub-Saharan region. But, the internet has enabled us to disciple these widows and provide food and other necessities.
Pastor David organizes our internet meetings each Wednesday. He works as a nurse at the hospital in Lodwar and then drives out to the village.
He also gets the rice, oil, and other essentials and brings a smile and full bellies to those who are desperate for food and clean water.
Desperate For Food and The Word
This is a dry and barren land in Turkana County, Kenya. The people face drought, bandits, starvation, and disease. They are desperate for food and water, but even more so they are hungry to be equipped with the Word.
Hope For a Miracle
Shortly after we began teaching these precious ladies, one of our prayers was answered in the form of rain. It rained after over one year and then we had to ask God to slow it down because they weren’t used to it. We have seen goats returned home and other miracles. But, these ladies are seeking God to heal broken bones and open blind eyes.
Meet Regina, one of the leaders and a true prayer warrior. But she is blind. Despite being blind she prays consistently for the healing of the other widows and their families.
